About the position

The Distribution Marketing Manager at Aptiv plc is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing plans to promote priority products within the Connection Systems business. This role involves collaboration with distribution sales, product line management, and marketing teams to effectively communicate product value and ensure proper branding across various platforms. The manager will also support technical training for distribution partners and conduct marketing research to enhance product promotion strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with distribution sales and product line management teams to promote Aptiv CS solutions.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing plans for priority products, including new product introductions.
  • Communicate the product promotion roadmap to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure availability of marketing materials for product promotions, such as datasheets and brochures.
  • Develop messaging that clearly communicates the value of Aptiv products.
  • Work with distributors to define and execute marketing programs featuring Aptiv products on their digital platforms.
  • Plan and support technical trainings for distribution partners aligned with product promotion strategy.
  • Confirm proper branding and accurate representation of solutions on distributor marketing outlets.
  • Collaborate with the e-catalog/product information management team to ensure distributors have the required data.
  • Conduct distribution-related marketing research and analysis in partnership with product management and strategy teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in channel marketing, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Demonstrated track record in developing and executing product and customer marketing strategies.
  • Proven ability to understand complex solutions and communicate them effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and other MS Office tools.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other Adobe tools is an advantage.
  • Experience managing complex stakeholders and influencing multiple constituencies.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with high performance expectations.
  • Creative thinker.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or engineering.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in Adobe tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
