About the position
The position involves assisting in the picking and packing of finished goods, as well as the loading, unloading, and storage of both finished goods and raw materials in a warehouse environment. The role is essential for ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, adhering to customer guidelines and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack goods according to the received pick-ticket and customer guidelines.
- Store goods in the appropriate section of the warehouse as directed.
- Utilize Tier 2 equipment for loading and unloading goods, as well as for picking and packing.
- Accurately process various transactions using warehouse management systems.
- Monitor product quality and report any issues to the Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager.
- Maintain productivity levels and keep an accurate log of activities.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Observe health, safety, and hygiene rules.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Related work experience in warehousing and distribution.
- Basic math skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed to support business needs.
- Experience in operating Tier 2 warehousing equipment (Dock Truck and Electric Pallet Jack).
- Ability to learn to operate Tier 2 equipment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
