About the position

The Distribution Sales Engineer at Siemens is responsible for driving stock product sales within the channel in Arizona, managing a multimillion-dollar quota. This role involves developing and nurturing relationships with channel partner organizations, conducting sales training, and implementing promotional programs. The position requires a strategic approach to account management, focusing on revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement plans for strategic accounts to exceed revenue retention and growth expectations.
  • Pursue long-term account strategies that maximize profits.
  • Identify, develop, and manage channel partners to achieve channel goals.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with key account decision makers.
  • Perform client presentations to articulate the value proposition of products and services.
  • Provide management with suggestions for improving volume, market share, and pricing levels.
  • Develop forecasts, budgets, and operating plans for sales channels.
  • Support product knowledge across various low and medium voltage products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of sales experience.
  • 3+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to participate in the Siemens vehicle plan.
  • Legally authorized for employment in the United States without employer-sponsored work authorization.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of power distribution and controls product sales experience.
  • 3+ years of knowledge of low and medium voltage power distribution product line.
