About the position
The Distribution Specialist at UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital is responsible for managing inventory and stocking supplies throughout the medical center. Responsibilities
- Inventories and stocks all par level stocking locations throughout the medical center.
- Receives and distributes supplies as needed.
- Provides customer service and adheres to hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment in accordance with OSHA and other regulatory guidelines.
- Performs additional duties as directed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Three months to one year of work experience in a related field.
- Effective organizational, communication, and human relations skills.
- Proven knowledge of patient-related supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Experience with aseptic and sterilization techniques is preferred.
- Computer skills are preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Forklift and pallet jack experience is preferred.
