About The Position

The Distribution Supervisor at Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast is responsible for overseeing the efficient distribution of products and managing a team of drivers within a Sales Center facility. This role includes coordinating distribution schedules, ensuring adherence to delivery standards, and fostering a positive work environment while maintaining customer relationships.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in Warehouse & Distribution, Supply Chain or related field required
• Previous supervisory and/or leadership experience preferred
• Basic technical knowledge and working experience with SAP preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word
• Strong analytical, decision making and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to effectively supervise and motivate employees

• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain best practices

Responsibilities

• Coordinate distribution schedules, vehicle assignments, loading of product and delivery of product
• Conduct weekly route rides with Drivers; document observations and develop action plan to address areas of opportunity
• Complete daily Full Service route planning; conduct Full Service audits and provide Full Service reporting as needed
• Supervise, train, develop and evaluate a team of direct reports
• Foster a fun, results driven work environment that achieves its results in a safe, professional and ethical manner
• Ensure adherence to delivery standards, efficiencies and regulatory requirements
• Establish and maintain positive customer relationships; work to resolve customer issues
• Serve as liaison between distribution and sales departments
