About the position

As a Distribution Team Lead at Stryker, you will oversee the performance of the receiving team, ensuring that manufacturing teams are equipped with the necessary resources to produce life-saving products. This role involves leadership, coordination, and development of team members in a fast-paced warehouse environment, emphasizing quality, delivery, and production planning.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for team's performance in areas of quality, delivery, and production planning.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the team in partnership with supervisor/manager.
• Develop team members and processes through strategy and coaching.
• Coordinate team to bring out the best qualities in team members.
• Coordinate workload with other lead persons and departments to improve efficiency.
• Prepare and issue performance evaluations to employees.
• Maintain company policies, safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Participate in the resolution of manufacturing/distribution forms.
• Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing/warehouse or related field required.
• Shipping/Receiving or logistics background preferred.
• General computer skills and analytical abilities required.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills required.
