About the position

The Distribution Technician is responsible for the organization, placement, and delivery of all shipped goods transported into and out of New Belgium Brewery (NBB). This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the stock of all direct and non-direct supplies, as well as the storage of all finished goods. The role is specifically for the night shift, with working hours from Monday to Wednesday and every other Sunday, from 6 PM to 6 AM. A shift differential of $6.00 is added to the base pay for hours worked during this time frame. Essential duties include performing daily warehouse functions such as cleaning, stocking delivery trucks, and maintaining equipment. The technician will adjust outstanding orders, input information, and maintain logs, records, and legal shipping documents to facilitate the flow of products through the warehouse. Additionally, the technician will organize and predict space needs across multiple storage facilities, operate warehouse-related equipment (including forklift trucks), and load/unload finished products and raw materials. Monthly inventory will be conducted and processed in accordance with ATF, state, and local regulations, ensuring that quality assurance measures and processes are adhered to in warehouse operations. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) to six (6) months of on-the-job experience.
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills.
  • Basic forklift operation knowledge and experience.
  • Basic knowledge and experience in warehouse operations.
  • Solid communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge and experience in equipment requiring involved setup, adjustments, and operational procedures.
  • Ability to work in cold temperatures (the Distribution Center is a refrigerated warehouse at 42° - 45° Fahrenheit).
