About the position

The role involves conducting monthly distributor performance reviews, focusing on key prospects and accounts at risk, and managing distributor accountability for Castrol sales results. The position requires the creation of action plans to address underperformance and the execution of these plans. Additionally, the role includes forecasting for distributors and direct accounts as part of the region's Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) demand plan, monitoring in-month performance, and managing national account delivery for fee performance. The individual will support Castrol Branded Workshop offers, ensure compliance with various standards, maintain Turfview accuracy, and provide input into distributor programs and new products. The position also involves executing detailed sales plans to acquire new customers and ensuring compliance with bp's Code of Conduct and HSSE Standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct monthly distributor performance reviews and manage accountability for sales results.
  • Create action plans to address underperformance in distributor metrics.
  • Forecast monthly for distributors and direct accounts as part of the S&OP demand plan.
  • Monitor in-month performance of distributors and flag opportunities and vulnerabilities.
  • Manage distributors' national account delivery for fee performance and ensure compliance with product handling and quality standards.
  • Support Castrol Branded Workshop offers and ensure distributor understanding of sales efforts.
  • Act as a single point of accountability for distributor compliance with HSSE and ethical standards.
  • Maintain Turfview accuracy and ensure accounts receivables are current.
  • Provide input into distributor and installer programs and communicate competitive threats to marketing.
  • Execute detailed sales plans focusing on the acquisition of new customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field of study.
  • Customer and channel management experience.
  • Proven cross-functional project management experience.
  • Experience in executing marketing programs.
  • Experience in managing programs and offers.
