About the position

As a Distributor Manager - National Accounts, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with national distributors to drive sales growth of respiratory diagnostic solutions. This role requires strategic account management, sales forecasting, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure alignment with company goals. Your leadership and sales expertise will enhance distributor performance and expand market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with national distributor partners, acting as the primary point of contact for sales and operational support.
  • Collaborate with distributors to develop and execute tailored sales strategies that align with company objectives and market demands.
  • Track and analyse distributor performance metrics, providing guidance and support to optimize sales results and address any challenges.
  • Provide ongoing training and resources to distributor sales teams, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively promote respiratory diagnostic solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, using insights to inform sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Work closely with marketing, product management, and customer service teams to coordinate promotional activities, new product launches, and service initiatives.
  • Assist in the negotiation and management of distribution agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in sales management are a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or distributor management within the medical technology or healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of managing national accounts or distributors, with demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and strategies, with experience in utilizing CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for tracking and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of assessing performance data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
