About The Position

Eaton's North American Sales division is seeking a Distributor Sales Representative for a hybrid role based in Smyrna, GA. This position focuses on industrial power distribution equipment and services across Georgia, Alabama, and the Carolinas. The role involves managing relationships with channel partners, providing sales support, and optimizing inventory to drive sales growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum three years of electrical sales and/or marketing experience with a focus on distributor/channel responsibilities.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• Possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage and demonstrate strong knowledge of assigned channel partners to increase sales.
• Interface directly with distributors, providing sales support and administrative services in inventory management.
• Partner with regional channel director and sales engineers to develop and execute territory channel strategy.
• Support customer issue resolution and make recommendations to management for program effectiveness.
• Track distributor growth using sales reporting tools and review stock levels with channel partners.
• Evaluate and optimize inventory at assigned distributors to maximize sales.
• Develop and implement action plans targeted at year-over-year growth.
• Train distributors on internal programs such as Vista, Bidmanager, and Commitments.
