About The Position

The District Asset Protection Manager is responsible for providing asset protection support across various retail and non-retail locations within the district. This role involves conducting investigations, overseeing vendors, and analyzing shrinkage to develop effective action plans. The manager promotes a strong safety culture and collaborates with law enforcement to implement asset protection strategies, ensuring the safety and integrity of the company's operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years multi-store format retail asset protection managerial experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of CCTV, alarm, access control, and locking systems.
  • Strong presentation, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity.
  • Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Loss Prevention Qualified/Certified (LPQ, LPC)
  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) - Wicklander-Zulawski Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide asset protection support for retail and non-retail locations within the district.
  • Conduct internal and external investigations and oversee vendors and asset protection specialists.
  • Conduct shrink analysis and audits, assisting in the development of shrink action plans.
  • Promote a strong safety culture with an emphasis on personal safety and accident reduction.
  • Interact with law enforcement and support stores in executing asset protection strategies.
  • Conduct asset protection training classes and audits as needed and directed.
  • Manage store security resources and ensure equipment is in working order.
  • Lead the district's safety initiatives and support the G.O. safety strategy.
  • Supervise and coach direct reports, completing performance reviews and providing feedback.
  • Travel to stores regularly to ensure execution of asset protection initiatives.
