About the position
Join our Transportation Department. Bensenville School District 2 is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our students by providing reliable and efficient transportation services. We are seeking a dedicated and responsible School Bus Driver to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of safety and service. Being a part-time bus driver is a rewarding opportunity! Our school bus drivers transport students to and from school, as well as extracurricular activities, field trips, and other school-related events.
Responsibilities
- Transport students to and from school
- Drive students to extracurricular activities and field trips
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during transport
- Maintain high standards of safety and service
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Good driving record
- CDL license-Class B required
- Illinois school bus drivers permit required
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug screening
- Must pass a physical examination
Nice-to-haves
- Willing to train new drivers
