About the position
The District Database Specialist (PowerSchool) is responsible for managing and maintaining the PowerSchool database for the district. This role involves ensuring data integrity, providing support for data-related issues, and assisting in the implementation of new features and updates within the PowerSchool system. The specialist will work closely with district staff to ensure that all data is accurately recorded and reported, contributing to the overall efficiency of the district's operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the PowerSchool database for the district.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the database.
- Provide support for data-related issues and troubleshooting.
- Assist in the implementation of new features and updates in PowerSchool.
- Collaborate with district staff to ensure proper data entry and reporting.
- Generate reports and analyze data to support district needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience with PowerSchool or similar student information systems.
- Strong understanding of database management and data integrity principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Nice-to-haves
