About the position

The Connor Group is seeking District General Managers to lead and motivate teams in a new industry, focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining property profitability. This role is ideal for individuals from retail, restaurant, and hospitality backgrounds, with no specific industry experience required. Managers will be responsible for overseeing operations, sales management, and community impact through their work.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate your team while holding them highly accountable.
  • Effectively manage bill-pay, expense control, and full P&L statement.
  • Manage your maintenance team, coordinating work orders and apartment turns.
  • Own all aspects of sales management - Traffic Building, New Rentals, and Renewals.
  • Manage your sales team by selling alongside them.
  • Master operational systems and processes.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Make a measurable difference in the community through The Connor Group Kids & Community Partners.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years as a Store Manager, General Manager, or Market Manager of a highly complex business.
  • Proven track record in driving a profitable business.
  • Comfortable holding accountability conversations and implementing performance improvement plans.
  • Hands-on approach, working shoulder-to-shoulder with your team.
  • Open to direct feedback, resilient, and solutions-oriented.
  • Assertive leader with a passion for developing others.
