Our District Growth Manager position within the Energy, Infrastructure, and Automation Business Area is a pivotal role that supports various clients in the Power Delivery Solutions and Technology, and Digital Transformation Solutions divisions across Florida. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about making a significant impact in the energy sector. The District Growth Manager will be responsible for driving and supporting new and existing business opportunities specifically with investor-owned utilities, cooperative utilities, and relevant state-wide energy agencies. This role requires a strategic mindset to build, manage, and execute multiple client pursuit and capture strategies within a multi-disciplined matrixed organization. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and maintaining a commercially viable time-phased sales funnel that aligns with the business objectives of each division and the overall sector. In collaboration with leadership, the District Growth Manager will develop and execute strategies aimed at driving positive margin growth and increasing market share within our existing client base. This role is essential for ensuring that Leidos remains a leader in providing consulting expertise across the energy infrastructure industry, which includes utilities, financial institutions, and government entities. Candidates should be prepared to travel up to 50-75% of the time to meet objectives and foster relationships with clients and stakeholders. This position is ideal for individuals who possess a strong background in relationship management and have a proven track record of success in business development within the energy sector.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and support new and existing business opportunities for Power Delivery Solutions, Technology, and Digital Transformation Solutions divisions.
  • Build, manage, and execute multiple client pursuit and capture strategies within a multi-disciplined matrixed organization.
  • Develop and maintain a commercially viable time-phased sales funnel that achieves business objectives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute strategies that drive positive margin growth and market share for each division.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of successful internal and external relationship management activities.
  • Experience in network development and expansion.
  • Ability to operate successfully in an environment with competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated record of processing new information to implement actionable growth strategies.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding assigned metrics.
  • Ability to gather 'ground truth' and design effective strategies in a dynamic environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, or business, or an MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Current registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus.
