About the position
The District Manager for Endoscopy at Cook Medical is responsible for selling medical devices and related equipment to healthcare providers, including physicians, hospitals, and outpatient facilities. This role involves establishing and maintaining relationships with these providers, developing business strategies, and achieving sales goals within the greater Philadelphia area. The position requires regular travel and interaction with various levels of the organization, focusing on the Endoscopy division's product line, which includes a range of devices for gastrointestinal procedures.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business and expand existing business
- Develop, maintain, and execute an annual business plan for the territory
- Meet and exceed projected sales goals
- Participate in national, state, and regional sales exhibits
- Maintain timely expense reports
- Keep current on the managed health care environment
- Educate customers through conversations, presentations/in-services, and literature
- Travel overnight as needed
- Interact effectively and professionally with others throughout various levels of the organization
- Adhere to safety requirements
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Maintain company quality and quantity standards
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively and independently

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in problem-solving
- Ability to work independently with little direct supervision
