About the position
The District Manager for Endoscopy at Cook Medical is responsible for selling medical devices and related equipment to healthcare providers, including physicians, hospitals, and outpatient facilities. Responsibilities
- Develop new business and expand existing business
- Develop, maintain, and execute an annual business plan for the territory
- Meet and exceed projected sales goals
- Participate in national, state, and regional sales exhibits
- Maintain timely expense reports
- Keep current on the managed health care environment
- Educate customers through conversations, presentations/in-services, and literature
- Travel overnight as needed
- Interact effectively and professionally with others throughout various levels of the global organization
- Adhere to safety requirements
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Maintain company quality and quantity standards
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
- Solve problems and work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in problem solving
- Experience working independently with little direct supervision
