About the position

The District Manager oversees multiple restaurants within a designated area, ensuring they meet sales goals and adhere to operational standards and regulations. This role focuses on improving sales, managing costs, and maintaining high-quality service and safety. The District Manager is also responsible for supporting and developing the management team to enhance overall performance.

Responsibilities

• Leads, coaches, develops, trains, manages, and mentors Store Managers to meet performance standards and adhere to operational goals.
• Visits restaurants to evaluate operational compliance, including staff appearance, food quality, safety, and inventory management.
• Oversees restaurant operations to ensure compliance with company standards and performance targets.
• Analyzes monthly sales and budget reports, providing feedback and collaborating with Store Managers on cost reduction and profit maximization plans.
• Resolves guest and employee complaints and conflicts, addressing issues that require higher-level intervention.
• Oversees the development and succession planning for management, preparing high-potential General Managers for advancement.
• Promotes communication within the area, sharing company news and best practices, and maintaining open channels for employee suggestions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; BA/BS degree preferred.
• Five or more years of prior General Management experience required; three or more years of QSR experience as a District Manager preferred.
• Proven track record of success in leading and developing high-performance teams.
• Reliable transportation and current ServSafe certification required.
