About the position

The District Manager oversees multiple restaurants within a designated area, ensuring they meet sales goals and adhere to operational standards and regulations. This role focuses on improving sales, managing costs, and maintaining high-quality service and safety. The District Manager is also responsible for supporting and developing the management team to enhance overall performance.

Responsibilities

  • Leads, coaches, develops, trains, manages, and mentors Store Managers to meet performance standards and adhere to operational goals.
  • Visits restaurants to evaluate operational compliance, including staff appearance, food quality, safety, and inventory management.
  • Oversees restaurant operations to ensure compliance with company standards and performance targets.
  • Analyzes monthly sales and budget reports, providing feedback and direction to restaurant management.
  • Resolves guest and employee complaints and conflicts promptly, addressing employee relations issues as needed.
  • Oversees the development and succession planning for management, preparing high-potential General Managers for advancement.
  • Promotes communication within the geographic area, sharing company news and best practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Five or more years of prior General Management experience required; three plus years QSR experience as a District Manager preferred.
  • Track record of success in leading, managing, coaching, and developing high-performance teams.
  • Current ServSafe certification required; must pass certification within 30 days if not current.
  • Reliable transportation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in succession planning.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Benefits
