About the position
The District Manager oversees multiple restaurants within a designated area, ensuring they meet sales goals and adhere to operational standards and regulations. This role focuses on improving sales, managing costs, and maintaining high-quality service and safety. The District Manager is also responsible for supporting and developing the management team to enhance overall performance.
Responsibilities
- Leads, coaches, develops, trains, manages, and mentors Store Managers to meet performance standards and adhere to operational goals.
- Visits restaurants to evaluate operational compliance, including staff appearance, food quality, safety, and inventory management.
- Oversees restaurant operations to ensure compliance with company standards and performance targets.
- Analyzes monthly sales and budget reports, providing feedback and direction to restaurant management.
- Resolves guest and employee complaints and conflicts promptly, addressing employee relations issues as needed.
- Oversees the development and succession planning for management, preparing high-potential General Managers for advancement.
- Promotes communication within the geographic area, sharing company news and best practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; BA/BS degree preferred.
- Five or more years of prior General Management experience required; three plus years QSR experience as a District Manager preferred.
- Track record of success in leading, managing, coaching, and developing high-performance teams.
- Current ServSafe certification required; must pass certification within 30 days if not current.
- Reliable transportation.

- Experience in succession planning.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
