The District Manager In Training (DMIT) at European Wax Center is a pivotal role designed to prepare candidates for the responsibilities of a District Manager. The DMIT will gain experience in managing a span of control that includes 8-12 locations, preparing them to lead teams effectively and ensure operational excellence. The role emphasizes the importance of talent management and performance development, as well as achieving sales targets. The DMIT will be expected to uphold the core values of Artemis Wax, which include teamwork, commitment, and a positive energy. The position is salaried and exempt, requiring full schedule availability to complete assigned tasks and responsibilities successfully. The DMIT must be fully trained and ready to transition into the District Manager role when a position becomes available, although there is no guarantee of advancement. Essential job functions include field and people leadership, where the DMIT will lead center performance, inspire teams, and develop Center Managers to reach their full potential. Responsibilities also include coaching, mentoring, and evaluating performance, as well as establishing partnerships with beauty schools for talent recruitment. The DMIT will be responsible for ensuring that all centers maintain cleanliness and adhere to brand standards, while also managing business expectations and performance metrics across the district.
