About the position

The District Manager for Store Operations at the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is a leadership role responsible for driving profitable sales growth across multiple retail locations in Region 1. This position involves overseeing store management teams, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and fostering a high-performing team culture dedicated to exceptional customer service. The District Manager will conduct regular store visits, assess operational performance, and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Drive profitable sales growth in stores throughout the assigned district.
  • Lead and develop store management teams to achieve results and support agency strategies.
  • Create and maintain a diverse, high-performing district team through selection, development, and motivation.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and policies in retail locations.
  • Conduct store visits and meet with store management to review financial and operational performance.
  • Foster a culture focused on providing exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

  • One year as a State Liquor Store Administrator 2; or
  • Two years as a State Liquor Store Administrator 1; or
  • Seven years of retail store experience at the manager or assistant manager level, including administrative and management experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training involving the review, analysis, and implementation of procedures, policies, and directives.
