About the position

The District Manager for Retail Fuel Operations is responsible for overseeing leased convenience and fuel stores within a designated district. This role involves communicating company standards and regulations to clients, providing operational support, and enhancing customer satisfaction through improved mystery shopper scores. The District Manager will lead store managers and staff, ensuring compliance with company policies while driving growth and profitability through strategic planning and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor various brand fleet programs, credit card programs, and brand incentive/rewards programs.
• Act as a liaison and consultant between on-site managers or tenants.
• Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment weekly to determine the necessity of repairs or maintenance.
• Develop and maintain the company's corporate image and identity, including logos and signage.
• Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
• Provide leadership and guidance to store managers and staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to meet goals and increase market share.

Requirements

• Management experience in retail or fuel operations.
• Sales experience with a focus on driving revenue growth.
• Process improvement skills to enhance operational efficiency.
• Profit and loss management experience.
• Business development skills to identify growth opportunities.
• Supervising experience to effectively manage a team of store managers.
• Project management skills to execute initiatives successfully.
• Team management abilities to motivate and inspire staff.
