About the position

The District Manager at Pritchard Industries is responsible for overseeing multiple locations in Delaware and Philadelphia, ensuring that exceptional service is delivered to clients. This role involves delegating tasks, providing guidance to employees, and maintaining high standards of quality control in janitorial services. The District Manager will work closely with Property Managers and Account Managers to address building-related matters and ensure efficient workflow and employee performance.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with the Property Manager to discuss building-related matters.
  • Ensure Tenant Surveys are completed by Account Managers and submitted to the Main Office.
  • Plan, organize, direct, and control the workflow at assigned locations, including rearranging janitorial staff assignments for coverage.
  • Evaluate Account Managers and employees' work performance.
  • Document employees' work performance and conduct inspections of work areas.
  • Complete employee attendance logbook and verify accurate payroll submissions.
  • Conduct inspections of assigned buildings to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Provide weekly written documentation of all buildings/areas inspected to the Senior Operations Manager and Director of Training and Quality Assurance.
  • Evaluate cleaning products, materials, and equipment, and report needs to the Senior Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • Management experience in the Janitorial Industry is required.
  • 3-5 years of Customer Service and/or Sales experience is highly desired.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and stressful environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office is highly desired.
  • High school diploma is required; a minimum of 2 years of college (Bachelor's preferred) is necessary.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience is required.
  • Bilingual is highly preferred.
