About the position

The District Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations within an assigned district, ensuring adherence to company standards and expectations. This role involves conducting store visits, managing store performance, and leading recruitment and training efforts for store management teams. The District Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales, enhancing customer service, and implementing loss prevention initiatives while fostering a positive work environment that values diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for all phases of district operations.
  • Conduct store visits focused on people, customer service, and store contribution.
  • Manage and control the operation of the assigned district to ensure consistency with company standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to stores to achieve district sales and profit goals.
  • Recruit, train, and develop store management teams.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle employee relations issues in partnership with HR and LP organizations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customer service issues in the district.
  • Monitor actual expenditures to remain within budget and control payroll hours.
  • Drive loss prevention initiatives and meet company shrink goals.
  • Ensure proper merchandising presentation and organization.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to adapt quickly to ambiguity and manage multiple tasks.
  • High School Degree or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • 5 or more years of retail management or operations experience.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
