District Merchandising Service Manager

About the position

The District Merchandising Service Manager (DMSM) at Lowe's is responsible for leading the execution strategy for Merchandising Service teams to enhance the shopping experience. This role involves overseeing product reset projects, managing merchandising priorities, and ensuring operational efficiency. The DMSM collaborates with various stakeholders, provides guidance to team members, and manages travel and budget expenses related to merchandising services.

Responsibilities

• Empower the Merchandising Service team to execute projects consistently and enhance customer experience.
• Encourage associates to identify opportunities for improving efficiency, merchandising, and displays.
• Oversee and forecast potential operational or safety issues during project planning.
• Direct the execution strategy for Merchandising Service teams to promote a better shopping experience.
• Drive improvement and consistency in store product reset projects and set merchandise maintenance priorities.
• Analyze and resolve merchandising issues.
• Manage related travel and budget expenses.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in a fast-paced retail environment or 2 years of Lowe's store experience.
• 2 years of supervisory experience including coaching/training team members.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass MVR screen in accordance with company requirements.
• Ability to travel between stores within the district.
• Available to work overnight and weekends as required.

Nice-to-haves

• 2 years of experience leading a distributed workforce (e.g., multiple units across stores).
• 2 years of product merchandising experience including reading planograms, setting up and tearing down displays.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, Outlook).
