About the position

The Operations Manager - District is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a district office, focusing on managing customer and technical service personnel to meet financial and operational goals. This role involves establishing strategic direction, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and managing performance to achieve revenue growth and budget expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the district office.
  • Establish strategic direction for the district team.
  • Ensure delivery of equipment and services exceeds customer expectations.
  • Manage performance to achieve revenue growth and budget expectations.
  • Create alignment and accountability within the team.
  • Engage employees to foster a committed work environment.
  • Lead the implementation of customer service culture.
  • Set performance expectations and hold team accountable for results.
  • Partner with Account Executives to increase district revenue.
  • Oversee equipment and supply management practices.
  • Recruit, train, and develop employees.

Requirements

  • 3 years management experience, preferably in healthcare or medical equipment sales.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Business and financial management expertise for contract management.
  • Profit and Loss (P&L) statement and budget management experience.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the hospital industry.
  • Knowledge of billing processes and account receivable collections.
  • In-depth knowledge of medical equipment.
