About The Position

The District Operations Manager at Primo Water Corporation is responsible for leading and managing refill service technicians who install, service, and repair refill water vending units. This role emphasizes creating a safety-first culture, ensuring operational plans are executed effectively, and driving customer satisfaction through oversight and coaching. The manager will also focus on employee development, maintaining staffing levels, and analyzing market opportunities to grow revenue while adhering to company standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant work experience.
  • Previous experience in a managerial role or leading a team-centered environment.
  • Basic knowledge/experience of financial analysis and P&L.
  • Ability to lead, organize, and build effective and diverse teams.
  • Strong decision-making ability and judgment.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move 10 pounds and periodically lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to travel to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, evaluate, train, and onboard refill service technicians.
  • Foster a safety-first culture through awareness, training, and accountability.
  • Create a positive work environment through real-time observation and constructive feedback.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through service oversight and coaching of Service Technicians.
  • Champion safety by demonstrating behaviors aligned to safety principles.
  • Work in the field with Technicians to develop and improve skills.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards for customer service and order delivery.
  • Support the personal and professional development of direct reports through coaching.
  • Participate in route rides and deliver on-the-job training.
  • Promote a positive employee experience through onboarding and engagement activities.
  • Drive Net Promoter Score and Customer Satisfaction within the market.
  • Maintain staffing levels through talent acquisition and retention.
  • Analyze and monitor area activities and results; develop alternative plans as needed.
  • Measure and monitor area profitability levels; take corrective action as required.
  • Evaluate market for opportunities to grow revenue.
  • Implement financially sound decisions to deliver financial plans for the area of responsibility.
  • Lead direct reports through transformational business initiatives.
  • Ensure business routines and processes are conducted safely and effectively.
  • Coach, develop, and manage performance through transparent field leadership.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador by nurturing quality relationships with employees and customers.
