About the position

The District Sales Manager (DSM) for Pabst Brewing Company is responsible for driving brand sales and initiatives in the Atlanta, GA market. This role involves managing distributor relationships, executing brand strategies, and ensuring effective market development. The DSM will work closely with retail partners and distributors to enhance brand visibility and achieve sales objectives, while also being a representative of the Pabst family of brands.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with distributors and retail accounts.
• Lead promotions, distribution, innovation, sales, and pricing initiatives for brands.
• Manage monthly and annual volume forecasts to set objectives and tactics.
• Conduct regular meetings with distributor partners to evaluate business goals and marketing programs.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for incremental volume and close identified opportunities.
• Create sales stories and handle objections effectively.
• Participate in customer-facing events such as festivals and educational seminars.
• Maintain professional demeanor and presentation in all situations.
• Utilize Pabst Sales and Reporting systems for business analysis and decision-making.
• Record specified activities in Salesforce CRM, including check-ins and placements.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of CPG sales experience, preferably in beverage/alcohol.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience with pricing, forecasting, and market trends.
• Prior experience in managing distributors and planning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Public speaking and presentation skills are essential.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
