About the position

The District Sales Manager at Novamex is responsible for managing all sales activities and headquarters calls within designated regions in Southern California. This role involves achieving monthly sales budgets, promoting various beverage brands, managing promotions and budgets, and ensuring effective communication with customers and teams. The position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to analyze sales data, and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly sales budget by brand while adhering to spending guidelines.
  • Promote all brands and packages consistently to distributors and direct customers.
  • Manage and review promotions and sales budgets with customers.
  • Adjust promotions to meet sales goals and budgets.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and teams to align sales goals.
  • Process deductions and promotions within established timelines.
  • Present new items and strategies to customers and teams.
  • Complete assigned projects within budget and time parameters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A.) from a four-year college.
  • 8-10+ years of related experience in food and/or beverage categories.
  • Hands-on experience in integrated marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, managing, and supervising a team.
  • Expertise in financial planning, budget control, and analysis of financial statements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
