About the position

The District Sales Manager for Milwaukee Valve Company is responsible for directing, coordinating, and supervising sales activities within a defined territory in California. This role involves working with a selective distribution channel, end-user markets, and the local engineering community to control specifications and enhance sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise sales activities in the assigned territory.
  • Develop and maintain an adequate distribution network.
  • Conduct market research and promote brand awareness.
  • Train users and provide application engineering support.
  • Prepare management reports on local activities and market influences.
  • Assist in developing sales policies, methods, and promotional ideas.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • One to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
