American Buildings - Texas is seeking applications for the position of District Sales Manager covering the South Texas territory. In this role, you will manage the development of Builders, Accounts, and National Account opportunities. Your primary responsibility will be to implement effective Builder recruitment strategies and execute cancellations of non-performing Builders. You will be responsible for marketing American Buildings Company products within the assigned district, establishing annual sales plans to achieve goals set with the Regional Sales Manager, and creating plans with each Builder to enhance market presence, including improving ABC penetration, the quality of in-place products, and public image. Additionally, you will promote Builder attendance at all training opportunities, ABC functions, and the utilization of ABC marketing programs. Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager, you will develop personalized training for self-improvement and create Best Mark opportunities to enhance product quality, service functions, and builder relations. The position requires extensive travel and driving, as well as a strong commitment to safety, as it is a core value at Nucor. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
