About the position

The District Sales Manager for Cricket Wireless Authorized Dealer is responsible for overseeing the sales and operations of multiple retail locations. This role focuses on driving sales growth, managing store performance, and developing staff through effective coaching and training. The District Sales Manager collaborates with executive leadership to meet key performance indicators and implement best practices across all locations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day sales and operations of up to 10 Authorized Retail Cricket Wireless locations.
  • Recruit, hire, coach, and develop Store Managers and Sales Associates.
  • Ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue.
  • Assist employees in solving issues via email, phone, and WhatsApp.
  • Motivate employees to meet sales goals through daily interactions.
  • Maintain product knowledge of all Cricket Wireless service plans and mobile devices.
  • Ensure all store locations meet established standards in organization, appearance, and customer service.
  • Conduct weekly one-on-ones with Store Managers to discuss performance and goal attainment.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and adherence to daily opening and closing procedures.
  • Review and ensure proper display of marketing collateral and roadside signs.
  • Provide side-by-side selling support to sales representatives.
  • Attend scheduled meetings with the Executive Team or Cricket.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Team to establish sales goals and hold staff accountable.
  • Work with the National Trainer to establish training schedules.
  • Participate in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing employees.
  • Address disciplinary issues and participate in employee terminations as needed.
  • Hold monthly team meetings to educate and empower staff.
  • Communicate inventory needs based on sales trends and develop a consistent product mix.
  • Adhere to payroll budget to maximize productivity and minimize expenses.
  • Master RQ4 and all Cricket online tools and reporting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; College degree preferred.
  • Five years of related retail sales experience, preferably in telecommunications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Proficiency with RQ4 preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to remain calm under stressful customer interactions.
  • Basic business math skills and effective time management.
