About the position

The District Sales Manager at Matco Tools is responsible for overseeing a dynamic sales territory within Montana, South Dakota, and North Dakota. This role requires a natural leader who is committed to integrity and has a passion for inspiring others to achieve their goals. The position involves significant travel, sales coaching, and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a sales territory within Montana, South Dakota, and North Dakota.
  • Drive revenue and build client relationships through effective sales strategies.
  • Provide sales coaching and motivation to franchisees.
  • Utilize MS Office tools for tracking sales results and managing inventory.
  • Handle physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing on and off a mobile tool truck.

Requirements

  • 5 years of sales experience, preferably in field/route sales, sales management, or automotive tool franchise.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree desirable for career advancement.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 6 hours daily, including occasional overnight stays.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in automotive tools or franchising is a significant advantage.
