About the position

The District Sales Manager at White Cap is responsible for driving sales growth and managing a team of sales associates. This role involves training, coaching, and providing feedback to ensure the team meets sales targets and delivers excellent customer service. The position requires a strong sales management background and the ability to work closely with account managers to maximize sales potential in the district.

Responsibilities

  • Review key sales metrics including sales growth and gross profit percentage goals.
  • Train and coach sales associates in effective selling processes and techniques.
  • Lead and inspire the sales team to focus on high-potential opportunities.
  • Provide regular feedback for improvement and ensure accountability.
  • Spend at least 4 days a week with different Account Managers to provide support and training.
  • Seek customer feedback on company performance and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Conduct monthly one-on-one accountability sales team reviews with account managers and other staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong sales management background and recruiting experience.
  • Product knowledge and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Leadership and coaching experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 10+ years of industry sales experience.
  • 5+ years experience with area customer base.
