About the position

The District Sales Representative is responsible for servicing Spectrum Brands Home & Garden products at major retail accounts, including The Home Depot and Lowe's. This role focuses on maintaining store presentation standards, driving sales through effective merchandising, and building relationships with store management to enhance product visibility and sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales goals by maintaining store presentation standards through resets, fixture installation, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Execute Planograms/Maps and identify opportunities for margin growth.
  • Build relationships with store management to maximize customer interest and sales levels.
  • Place replenishment orders with store management to increase volume and contribute to bottom line sales.
  • Conduct pricing surveys and track orders to identify additional selling opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with performance expectations and company policies, including safety and attendance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or additional training preferred.
  • 1-2 years of previous sales and/or retail experience; leadership or management experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and demonstrate professional behavior at all times.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in merchandising and retail sales.
  • Knowledge of consumer products in the home and garden sector.
