About the position

As a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in delivering patient care and supporting the management of pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing pharmacy staff, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining regulatory compliance while providing exceptional customer service. You will also be involved in patient care programs and contribute to the overall growth and performance of the pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations including patient safety, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient care programs are effectively implemented.
• Motivate and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments and addressing development opportunities.
• Identify business opportunities and contribute to meaningful solutions for growth and performance improvement.
• Adapt to changes in the healthcare environment and adjust plans accordingly.
• Foster a team culture that promotes enthusiasm and pride in delivering care.

Requirements

• Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
• Free of pending felony charges or convictions involving controlled substances.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
