Responsibilities
- Support the management and operation of all aspects within the pharmacy.
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with pharmacy professional practice standards.
- Oversee regulatory requirements and quality assurance processes.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and caregivers.
- Manage personnel and pharmacy support staff effectively.
- Handle inventory management and financial profitability of the pharmacy.
- Implement loss prevention strategies and workflow management.
- Lead patient care programs to keep customers healthy.
- Motivate and develop pharmacy support staff by balancing assignments and addressing development opportunities.
- Identify business opportunities and contribute to solutions that drive growth and performance.
Requirements
- Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
- Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
