About the position

The Diversity & Campus Program Recruitment Manager at ABM Industries is responsible for driving candidate generation strategies focused on building diverse talent pipelines across various job families. This role collaborates closely with the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) team to establish partnerships with unique talent programs, particularly targeting universities such as HBCUs and HSIs, to position ABM as an employer of choice. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and is based in Sugar Land, TX, Austin, TX, or Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sourcing capability and delivery to proactively build diverse candidate pools.
  • Lead the ABM intern program to support brand recognition at target universities.
  • Establish student talent pipelines through partnerships with target universities.
  • Collaborate with the ABM Culture & Inclusion team, TA leadership, and marketing teams on hiring initiatives.
  • Articulate a written plan with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process.
  • Inspect sourcing funnel and leverage data to optimize diverse representation in recruiting.
  • Build mechanisms to influence broader diversity sourcing efforts across the talent acquisition team.
  • Design and lead sourcing sessions to teach recruiters best practices for attracting diverse talent.
  • Conduct talent market research to inform local recruiting strategies.
  • Partner with ABM Impact Groups to share strategies for attracting diverse talent.
  • Provide reports for leadership on pipeline health and progress to goals.
  • Identify and align support for hiring events with community partners and schools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in campus and intern recruiting and/or diversity-focused recruiting.
  • Strong sourcing skills with experience in developing and executing diversity sourcing strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Technology savvy, including social media and process mapping; experience with Handshake preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Recruiting and/or ATS is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present effectively to large and small groups.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, such as Oracle Recruiting Cloud.
  • Passion for recruiting and sourcing diverse candidate groups.
