About the position
Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida, located in Orlando, is seeking a Division Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology & Audiology ENT to lead and advance our expanding team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape a division at the forefront of pediatric ENT care. The Division Chief will lead a dedicated team of five pediatric otolaryngologists, a part-time neurologist, three nurse practitioners, a physician assistant and nine audiologists. Our thriving cochlear implant program is supported by four speech-language pathologists and three specialized audiologists, including a Cochlear Program Director. Additionally, we are actively recruiting a neuropsychologist to further enhance our services.
Responsibilities
- Lead and advance the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology & Audiology.
- Oversee a team of pediatric otolaryngologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and audiologists.
- Manage and develop the cochlear implant program and other specialized services.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Plastic Surgery, for integrated care.
- Engage in research and academic activities related to pediatric ENT care.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Otolaryngology.
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong commitment to pediatric healthcare and community service.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with cochlear implant programs.
- Familiarity with Transoral Robotic ENT Surgery.
- Interest in academic medicine and research.
