We are a nation-wide animal feed company that has been in business for over 30 years, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Division Controller to join our dynamic Finance team. This position is crucial as it oversees all financial operations of the division, ensuring that our financial practices align with our strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in controller functions, cost accounting, senior accounting, and month-end close processes. Additionally, experience in bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation, audits, and proficiency in SAP and Excel is essential. The Division Controller will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. In this role, you will manage the month-end close process, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on time. You will prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making. Regular audits will be conducted to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and you will develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets. Collaboration with other departments is vital to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of financial information, and you will manage the division's cash flow to ensure adequate funding for operations. Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial operations of the division, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in controller, cost accounting, senior accounting, and month-end close
  • Experience in bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation, audit, SAP, Excel, manufacturing, and agriculture
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
