About the position

The Division Director of AimHire at Friendship Place is responsible for leading and developing person-centered workforce development services aimed at empowering individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness. This role involves strategic program development, compliance with regulations, and fostering relationships with diverse groups to ensure effective service delivery. The Division Director will oversee program administration, staff management, and grant management while promoting an inclusive and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Foster an inclusive, transparent, and innovative environment for quality service delivery.
  • Develop and implement staff performance management methods.
  • Plan and host staff bonding and social activities.
  • Lead weekly team meetings to discuss program updates and professional development.
  • Lead strategic development and implementation of the program model.
  • Revise and develop participant-centered program goals and outcomes.
  • Oversee continuous improvement of data tracking and impact reporting.
  • Assign and supervise tasks of volunteers and conduct bi-monthly volunteer meetings.
  • Collaborate with other Division Directors to streamline service delivery.
  • Oversee grant management and ensure timely reporting and compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and office safety procedures.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in human services and program management.
  • Experience in workforce development and homeless services preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional relationship building and retention skills.
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines under pressure.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
