About the position
The HR Director for the Seats Division at ITW Automotive is a pivotal leadership role responsible for aligning HR strategies with the division's operational objectives. This position encompasses a wide range of HR functions including talent management, employee relations, organizational design, and compliance. The HR Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple locations to implement people initiatives that drive business success and foster a positive organizational culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with ITW's Enterprise strategy and the division's goals.
- Partner with business leadership in strategy development and operational planning.
- Lead change management initiatives and consult on organizational design.
- Identify organizational needs and develop strategies to address them.
- Champion inclusion and diversity initiatives within the division.
- Provide high-touch HR support and coaching to business leaders.
- Manage complex employee relations issues and ensure legal compliance.
- Build and lead a high-performing HR team across US locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience in leadership positions.
- Experience in all facets of human resources including employee relations and legal compliance.
- Knowledge of organization assessment and design.
- Experience in talent planning and management, including succession planning.
- Cross-cultural experience managing and influencing in multiple regions.
- Proven experience with change management in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
