About the position

The HR Director for the Seats Division at ITW Automotive is a pivotal leadership role responsible for aligning HR strategies with the division's operational objectives. This position encompasses a wide range of HR functions including talent management, employee relations, organizational design, and compliance. The HR Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple locations to implement people initiatives that drive business success and foster a positive organizational culture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with ITW's Enterprise strategy and the division's goals.
  • Partner with business leadership in strategy development and operational planning.
  • Lead change management initiatives and consult on organizational design.
  • Identify organizational needs and develop strategies to address them.
  • Champion inclusion and diversity initiatives within the division.
  • Provide high-touch HR support and coaching to business leaders.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues and ensure legal compliance.
  • Build and lead a high-performing HR team across US locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience in leadership positions.
  • Experience in all facets of human resources including employee relations and legal compliance.
  • Knowledge of organization assessment and design.
  • Experience in talent planning and management, including succession planning.
  • Cross-cultural experience managing and influencing in multiple regions.
  • Proven experience with change management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
