About the position

The Division Manager for North Florida at The Wine Group is responsible for leading sales and execution in both On and Off Premise channels for the North Florida market. This role focuses on achieving volume and distribution goals for the company's portfolio of brands, developing pricing and programming strategies, and managing relationships with Military and Key Regional Accounts. The Division Manager will work closely with various sales teams to increase market share and execute brand initiatives, requiring routine travel within key markets such as Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, and Pensacola.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales and execution in both On and Off Premise channels for the North Florida market.
  • Achieve volume and distribution goals for The Wine Group's portfolio of brands.
  • Develop and execute pricing/programming strategies in coordination with the TWG Leadership Team.
  • Manage relationships with Retail Independent Accounts and Key Regional Accounts, focusing on Distributor Management.
  • Assist in developing and implementing the annual operating plan, including financial, volume, and distribution objectives.
  • Manage depletion and distribution objectives for the On and Off Premise channels in Florida.
  • Collaborate with the TWG management team to ensure new item and monthly retail priority execution is achieved.
  • Schedule and lead effective distributor sales meetings with all levels of management.
  • Introduce creative sales execution concepts and share successful practices across regions.
  • Complete administrative responsibilities including monthly CPR, phasing calendar, and Travel & Entertainment expenses.
  • Manage assigned budgets including incentives, travel & entertainment, and departmental expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with state and company policies/laws regarding sales practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the alcoholic beverage industry or related business.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for both commercial and premium wines.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of the alcoholic beverage industry retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve goals.
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.

Nice-to-haves

  • Intermediate wine knowledge or associated certifications.
