About the position

The Division Manager at Chimes International LTD is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of residential sites that support individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges. This role involves ensuring compliance with agency standards, conducting site visits, coordinating individual planning processes, and maintaining the health and safety of both the individuals served and staff. The Division Manager also plays a key role in staff supervision, training, and performance evaluations, while fostering relationships with stakeholders to enhance the quality of life for those supported by the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises the day-to-day operation of the homes in compliance with regulations and agency standards.
  • Conducts scheduled and unscheduled site visits to review environment, documentation, and staff interactions.
  • Coordinates the Individual Plan (IP) planning process and assembles an optimal team for the process.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for individuals served, providing timely updates and follow-ups.
  • Develops and reviews the IP for presentation at meetings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitates scheduling of interim meetings and follows up on actions discussed.
  • Monitors implementation of individual programs and ensures necessary materials are present.
  • Reviews staff time sheets and submits to Payroll according to timeframes.
  • Ensures service and medication books are up-to-date and filed appropriately.
  • Takes necessary action in emergency situations according to agency policies.
  • Completes performance evaluations for House Managers and direct support staff.
  • Participates in the hiring process and provides leadership to direct reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education, human services, psychology, social sciences, or related field preferred.
  • Two years of experience managing daily operations of multiple residential sites.
  • Two years of supervisory experience.
  • Two years of experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities.
  • Must have a car and an acceptable driving record.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a not-for-profit organization.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards in residential care.
