Division Manager

About the position

The Division Manager is an advanced level position responsible for overseeing yard operations assigned to HRI through the Fuel Management Program (FMP) process at BNSF Railroad facilities. This role involves managing performance, ensuring compliance with client expectations, and handling administrative tasks related to maintenance and construction duties.

Responsibilities

• Interface with the client intelligently and respectfully
• Present a professional demeanor to instill confidence in HRI's abilities
• Lead and direct all tasking and coordinate day-to-day operations
• Handle all administrative requirements and meet HRI obligations
• Complete complex tasks related to the Fuel Management Program including preventative maintenance and repairs
• Complete tasks related to the JLL Facilities Maintenance contract including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and construction
• Perform a wide array of maintenance and construction duties
• Report findings coherently to the chain of command and follow instructions
• Operate pick-ups and small equipment
• Learn and comply with company policies, procedures, and safety rules
• Maintain required equipment service records
• Assure safekeeping and proper usage of company tools
• Respond to hazardous material emergencies and environmental remediation call outs when required
• Participate in environmental operations and regulatory compliance events
• Build and submit quotes in Salesforce and CorrigoPro
• Complete HAZMAT incident reports
• Perform other incidental and related duties as required

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Valid driver's license required
• Experience working in construction, electrical, landscaping, farming or other outdoor occupations is preferred
• Ability to work on a team in diverse situations
• Ability to understand and follow instructions
• Ability to use or learn to use various tools and equipment
