About the position

The Division of Anatomic Pathology at Texas Children's Hospital is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible pediatric pathologist for a senior faculty position. This role involves a full-time academic appointment at Baylor College of Medicine, focusing on pediatric and perinatal pathology, with opportunities for collaboration and research within the Texas Medical Center.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to educational and scholarly activities in the Department of Pathology.
  • Engage in pathology resident and fellow education.
  • Provide primary service responsibilities in pediatric and perinatal/placental pathology.
  • Offer secondary coverage in adult gynecologic pathology, medical renal pathology, cytopathology, or congenital cardiac disease pathology.

Requirements

  • Board certification in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology through the American Board of Pathology.
  • Board-certification or Board-eligibility in Pediatric Pathology.
  • Eligibility for an active, unrestricted Texas medical license.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in adult gynecologic pathology, medical renal pathology, cytopathology, or congenital cardiac disease pathology.
