About the position

The Division Program Manager for Diversity Donor Services at the American Red Cross plays a crucial role in enhancing the organization's outreach and effectiveness in diverse communities. This position involves strategic partnership with the Division Donor Services VP, focusing on market analysis, business planning, and the implementation of diverse donor initiatives. The manager will oversee program activities, analyze data for improvements, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the success of recruitment and collection efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee implementation and objectives of Diverse Donor Initiatives, including planning, execution, and evaluation of recruitment and collection efforts.
  • Ensure integration of diverse donor strategies with local blood collection efforts.
  • Analyze data to identify needs and recommend improvements for Diverse Donor recruitment and collections.
  • Develop performance reports for management review.
  • Streamline processes within Diverse Donor recruitment and collections.
  • Collaborate with recruitment staff, Biomedical Headquarters, community partners, and sponsors to develop strategies.
  • Build sponsor pipelines through board engagement and align opportunities with Biomed and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committees.
  • Coordinate with the National Partnerships team and regional staff to strengthen interregional relationships with national partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience is required.
  • Proven ability to create presentations and develop training modules.
  • Excellent oral and communication skills, including training and presentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Develop project plans, budgets, and strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills to foster innovative processes for ongoing program improvement.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work on a team.
