BluePearl is seeking a Division Vice President of Operations for our West Division, which encompasses California, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and Colorado. The ideal candidate will reside within the Division. This role is pivotal in directing and planning the operations of the defined region to maximize returns on investments and enhance productivity. The Division Vice President of Operations will provide leadership and make critical decisions that impact financial performance, quality of care, and client experience. In this position, you will partner with the assigned region's Division Vice President of Medicine to optimize business performance and foster a positive clinical culture. You will implement cost containment strategies to maintain profitability and growth while ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will assist senior leadership in developing, implementing, and managing organizational initiatives and strategies. Your leadership will guide and coach all direct reports, ensuring an engaged and high-performance workforce. You will be responsible for developing operational leaders and creating a talent pipeline to support future organizational growth. Ensuring remarkable patient care while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory and organizational standards, including OSHA, DEA, and FDA, will be a key focus. You will also be accountable for associate engagement and retention, interacting with all levels of the organization to manage business operations effectively. This includes interpreting and implementing organizational policies and overseeing the effective utilization of physical and financial resources. Profit and loss management of hospitals within the region will be your responsibility, ensuring optimal performance to achieve or exceed budgets and key performance indicators. Collaborating with Vet Relations Manager(s), you will develop and implement a regional marketing plan to support growth and profitability, including facility startups and new clinician introductions. You will drive operational efficiency improvements, manage staffing, charge capture, and inventory management models, and ensure compliance with training and education requirements. Additionally, you will oversee privacy and security aspects, manage risk, and collaborate with legal counsel to resolve issues. Your role will also involve maintaining environmental integrity and safety across all facilities within the region, responding to merger and acquisition opportunities, and staying informed about regional veterinary services market trends.
