About the position

The Divisional Digital Marketing Manager at Concord Hospitality Enterprises is a pivotal role responsible for managing the company's e-commerce business presence and driving topline e-commerce revenue. This position requires a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to ensure high-quality support across various digital marketing initiatives. The manager will oversee the implementation of digital marketing plans for complex full-service assets, including restaurants and outlets, collaborating closely with key stakeholders to stabilize and enhance performance. Effective communication regarding results and strategies is essential, as the manager will be the primary point of contact for property personnel and business stakeholders, addressing digital marketing requests in a timely manner. In addition to managing a set of properties and outlets, the Digital Marketing Manager will be tasked with researching industry and competitive trends, gathering data to identify opportunities and insights that can inform marketing strategies. The role requires proficiency in utilizing brand marketing systems while staying updated on industry trends through active participation in brand resources such as newsletters and webinars. The manager will also conduct digital market audits and assessments across key digital channels, ensuring that all digital content and collateral align with brand standards and policies. The position involves creating and evaluating hotel packages, deals, and specials, as well as optimizing search engine and content strategies across various digital platforms. This multifaceted role demands a comprehensive understanding of digital marketing concepts and strategies, particularly within the hospitality sector, to effectively drive e-commerce performance and enhance the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee implementation of digital marketing plans for complex full-service assets, restaurants and outlets, working alongside key stakeholders to stabilize and lift performance, communicating effectively on results.
  • Manage and lead a set of properties and outlets as their Digital Marketing Manager; responsible for the ecommerce strategy and performance for those properties.
  • Communicate with property personnel and business stakeholders, responding in a timely manner to digital marketing and direct requests.
  • Research industry and competitive trends, gather data identifying opportunities and insights.
  • Utilize brand marketing systems effectively, while staying abreast of industry trends through proactive participation in brand resources (newsletters, webinars, etc.).
  • Process management and optimization, identification of opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions.
  • Execute digital market audits and assessments across key digital channels.
  • Ensure that digital content and collateral aligned with brand standards and policies.
  • Create and evaluate Hotel package/deals/specials.
  • Search Engine Optimization and Content Optimization across key digital channels.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in a measurable role with a focus on marketing or digital strategy.
  • Hospitality marketing/ecommerce (full-service Marriott/Hyatt properties preferred) experience preferred.
  • Professional Communication Skills both verbal and written, ability to coordinate.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of concepts and strategies in the fields of digital marketing and/or hospitality marketing.
  • Excellent organization, time management and project management skills. Ability to plan and think critically and creatively.
  • Ability to perform complex tasks and execute set processes.
  • Strong initiative and work ethic, ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to derive insights from data, prepare a presentation, and provide recommendations.
  • Ability to craft realistic solutions to challenges.
  • Ability to provide balanced feedback and communicate it in a productive manner.
