About the position

The Divisional Financial Controller will play a crucial role in managing financial operations within a Private Equity backed international business. This position requires a seasoned finance leader who can deliver robust financial results, manage junior accounts staff, and provide insightful analysis to the CFO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

Responsibilities

• Manage junior accounts staff and deliver financial results to the CFO and SLT on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports, statements, operating budgets, and controls.
• Head the accounts payable and receivable team, mentoring and managing junior accounts staff.
• Provide analysis of the P&L, balance sheet, sales, and margin reporting.
• Coordinate and prepare budgets and forecasts for company business activity and financial performance.

Requirements

• CPA qualification is preferred.
• 5-7 years of hands-on work experience in a financial controlling role within an international complex business.
• Experience in a Private Equity backed environment is essential.
• Ability to improve and augment processes and reporting systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience liaising with external auditors and preparing regulatory returns.
